2.5-Hour Introduction
to Critical Chain Project Management

When the Theory of Constraints thinking processes are applied to Project Management, what emerges is called Critical Chain Project Management - a revolutionary approach that shrinks project durations by more than 50% while improving on-time performance to the high-nineties percentile level.

This session, typically delivered on-site to a small group,  introduces the core concepts. Prior knowledge of the Theory of Constraints isn't a prerequisite.

Using an extraordinary, step-by-step presentation, we work with management and project management professionals to identify a deep-rooted core problem responsible for virtually all the project performance problems they are experiencing - regardless of the nature is of their specific project environment. We then work with the team to show the major implications of applying the Critical Chain Project Management approach.

It is crucial for managers going into this session to recognize that management's belief system is not so readily changed. While the material presented will make complete sense, and offer many cause-effect "aha" realizations for participants, it takes a 2-day session to gain a full buy-in.

This introduction is not sufficient to convince managers that this is the solution to their problems. But it is sufficient for management to recognize that Critical Chain Project Management offers enormous benefits, appears to be as applicable to their environment as to others that have benefited, and justifies a serious exploration of the Theory of Constraints and the Critical Chain Project Management approach with respect to their environment.
